They might be slightly more willing to look past that, but they'll still hold low opinion of your personality. Confidence helps more than anything.
Oh, no, it's got nothing to do with me approaching them. Except maybe I will. It's just that I tend to stare at all types of people out of curiosity, but I'm starting to realize that someone could get really creeped out and think I'm a psychopath.
edit: Or, you know, a pervert. I don't want to be marked for stuff like that just because of my curiosity :/
