I'm most comfortable sitting in a chair with my legs on a rest, like I'm laying back in a recliner. If it's a hard chair(No cushioning) I prefer it to be armless and I usually have my legs crossed under the chair.

Laying on the floor I feel like my bones are poking me. I probably have poor circulation because sitting on the floor tends to make my legs numb and I have to constantly change position. So I'm not a big fan of the floor.

I have a favorite recliner in the living room which i sit in all the time. I almost always sit on one of my legs, or have both legs curled up inside the chair. For some reason i always clutch a pillow as well.

How I like to sit really depends on where I'm sitting. Like right now I'm sitting at the dining room table and my legs are up on the chair and I'm basically squishing myself into this tiny space. This is my favorite place to sit. If I'm on the floor I normally have my legs bent and pulled up to me. Or if I'm wearing a big shirt my legs are pulled up in it. On the couch I prefer to lay with a blanket.

hmm, I like the floor. I cannot sit on my butt on the floor though without falling backwards :D but I can sit cross legged, or with my back against something. Hmm, When I sit in a chair, I tend to perch on my knees, much to the annoyance of those around me. :S

I always like to cross my legs somehow.

Usually my left leg sitting on my right knee, esp at my computer, with my left elbow sitting on my leg and leaning forward that to others looks uncomfortable. When not at my computer, i usually cross my ankles (underneath me or with my legs straight out) or if the chair is big enough i sit indian style.

Chair, hands down. For some reason, I typically sit on my legs or at least have them up on the chair. I have no idea why I do this. I find it very comfortable. But whenever anyone else tries it, they say it hurts! I guess I'm weird like that... I think sitting like that enough actually made me pigeon-toed.

I don't think there's any one position I can sit still in...I always end up changing positions every thirty minutes or so. Worst is when I'm sitting and I have one leg up and the other leg hanging over it...it always ends up falling asleep =/

I prefer the floor, but only if it's carpeted. I can't stand bare floors...they're all slippery, cold, and dirty.

Worst part of any position for me is my knee...I popped it out of the socket twice, and twisted it really bad once, so it always ends up hurting or uncomfortable...or the best case scenario is I'll just need to straighten it out to pop it every so often. Really sucks trying to pop it in the back of a car, or in a movie theatre, I'm sure the people in front of me don't appreciate it much ;D

O_O Damn, now I've thought about it *looks down* I'll never be able to cross my legs again.

I love the floor. Everyone always asks me why I sit on it in school. It's mega annoying. I should have a list of FAQs and show them to people who ask me any of them. That'd be funny to shove it in there face xD.

I also love my bed. I like to lay down a lot. Chairs give me backaces a lot depending on what it is. Movies chairs, everytime! I hate going to the movies often because the chairs KILL ME.

If chairs conformed to one standard, I might enjoy them more :D but every chair is different, and that bugs me. >.>

I have never been comfortable sitting Indian style, or with my leg under me. I am always too large for that, especially in chairs. Which is why I always stood when I was little when we had to sit on the floor Indian style. I can not stand my legs falling asleep, and when my leg is under me my leg falls asleep and my butt goes numb :P

Although I love sitting in corners. I always get a seat with an armrest, and I like my bed in the corner of the room, and whenever I go into the gym and we have to sit somewhere, it is either on the edge of a seat, or in a corner.

Oh I do that often, especially if I'm browsing the lower shelves or skimming over the magazines or books. One old lady hissed at me as she walked by "I didn't know this was a library!" I just gave her a wierd look and kept reading.

I like to either be cross legged, on the ground sitting on my feet, stretched out on the couch, or on a chair with my legs curled up next to me. I have to remember not to do the last one when we have company at the dinner table. My legs are always trying to climb up onto the chair with me, and if I'm not thinking about it they usually get away with it.

People need to be more understanding of people sitting on the floor in shops, Im always getting told off by security guards and then I get all panicked and I don't know what to do.
