Yes I like watching thunderstorms. Especially with the black overhanging clouds :)

I don't like nor dislike them, although some of the clouds produced in them can make for excellent photographs.

I get scared sometimes waking up in the middle of the night to loud lightning, but somehow it is also like the ultimate thrill. When I was a kid and it thunderstormed, there was a couple of times when I turned off all the lights in the house and pretended to be a jaguar in a rain forest.

I find it impossible to sleep through a thunderstorm. I hate the loud thunder, the lightning that seems to filter through my thin curtains and light up my room like a freakin' concert stage  I hate loud suprising sounds, but thunder like all other sounds, takes time to travel through the air, so I usually have time to prepare for the bang when I see the lightning.

Ohhh I love them. But proper forked lightning scares me, thankfully we usually only get the really bright pretty sheet variety. Though I did once see ball lightning, that was the most bizarre thing I've seen in a long time - it kinda appeared, hovered a few seconds, then seemed to explode outwards in the garden! Beautiful blue colour though. Oooh and when the thunder rolls on and on, and you can't tell if it's one clap or two mixed together, and it just keeps going and going... I love it. :D

That said, I hate hate hate being out in it, I'm always so scared I'll get struck.

Ya, I live right on Lake Ontraio and enjoy watching these storms run across the lake, very fun!! With nothing in the way the lightning is always fun to watch.

I love thunderstorms. I am totally fascinated by lightning. I love the patterns bolts of lightening make....I live the big flash of light.....I don't mind the big crash of thunder. All it is is air rushing in to fill the vacuum left behind by the lightening bolt.....I know I can expect it, and even predict how far away the strike was by how long it takes to hear the thunder....and the actual sound the thunder makes. I also love the smell of the ozone that the lightening bolt makes out of the breaking down the oxygen molecules in the air and reassembling them. I even like heat lightening (cloud to cloud), but it's not as exciting as a big thunderstorm.

I once saw lightening strike a beach maybe 100 feet away from where I was sitting. The crash of the thunder seemed instantaneous with the strike. I could really smell the ozone....people screamed and ran off the beach. At that time the lifeguards closed the beach....

I find thunderstorms very relaxing, they make me feel calm.

Sometimes I'd even consider it better than music.

It's a shame that they don't happen much at all in Ireland:(

I wish there was a thunderstorm right now. I like them better than normal or sunny days.

They annoy me more than anything. With the exception of last summer's drought, we get them constantly.

I love them, charged air, power, used to go watch from a ridge as they moved over the high plains, and found I was not the only watcher.

It is a little different when hiking in the mountains and the strikes are close. A leading cause of cow mortality

I'm deathly afraid of storms--ever since I was small. I've learned to deal with it, but I'm like a scared cat--shaking and pacing. I usually block my ears, turn all electrical appliances off, and move about the house until it's over.
