Every example you give is negative in connotation. A lot of us Aspies view the cup as half full vs half empty.

Detached: They are thoroughly emotionally and socially detached. They have little use for friendships or sexual relations and are not motivated by society's rewards. They are often scientists or underachievers. Many have an active imagination.

Rebellious: They have contempt for rules and authority and prefer to act on their momentary impulses. They tend to have "street smarts" and are good at handling and influencing people. They take care of their own needs first.

Fickle: They tend to experience the extremes of emotion in all its flavors. Their relationships are very important to them. Their decision making is strongly influenced by how they feel at the moment. They tend to be a bit conflicted.

Social: These people tend to be hypersocial and extraverted. They are highly emotionally demonstrative and very open about themselves. They like making others feel good and value attention and approval.

Self-aggrandizing: They are highly self-confident and often play up their talents, achievements, and abilities. Perfectionistic: These people believe that, if something is to be done, it ought to be done right. They are unswerving in their view of morality and hold others to account of it. They preoccupy themselves with details and lists.

Sad: They tend to have a low self-esteem and are frequently melancholy and pessimistic about their opportunities. They tend to need a lot of sleep.

Martyr: They tend to give much of themselves without being asked but then use this to instill guilt in others later.

I don't see myself especially in any one of those. If I HAD to choose one based upon the descriptions, I'd say Perfectionistic.

As far as personality styles related to the Personality Disorders, then I'd say Narcissistic and OCPD.

I voted shy, but I'm probably a mixture of shy, perfectionistic and detached.

Detached, with good parts of Perfectionistic and Suspicious.

I voted eccentric, I was using the definition I know of and hadn't read the thread yet; I do that a lot.

Primarily perfectionistic, with a few detached, self-belittling, and shy qualities.

I think the cheerful type applies to me most then out of those three. I can be a bit manic at times. What is the story with the "fickle" type, the only one I highlighted completely?

This last line of the detached type doesnt necessarily denote a schizoid-like person. Some NTs even can be good at science or have an active imagination or be an underachiever or not be motivated by society's rewards. I dont think I am very schizoid but I highlighted the whole line.

Different parts of most of those fit me, but the one definition that does fit me very well is: Suspicious.
