I do not like cracking joints, but I can feel that "pressure" building up in them, and I can't stand it at all, it's such an uncomfortable feeling. It bothers me to death when something feels like it needs to be popped but it just won't :x

I especially hate my knee...I've injured it severely a few times, and now if I'm not sitting in a position that causes it pain, it'll constantly get filled up and need popping.

Not so fun when I'm in a movie theatre or the back of a car

Yes. I absoutely love the way it feels when my kunckles crack and going to the chiropracter (he's told me he wishes all of his paitents were relaxed as I am). I drive my parents crazy because I am constantly cracking my nuckles. My mother says I'm messing my joints up by doing so. They hurt if I don't crack them. If something toched my knees, elbows or knucles when they were unbent, I felt like I was going to pass out. Maybe by cracking my joints I am giving them the simutation they crave.

Cracking my knuckles is one of my stims... and I love my toes doing it, and my back, and my hips... mmmmm.

My aspie teenage son LOVES to do that, always has! The fact that it drives me and everyone else nuts only makes him laugh and do it more. So we all try our best to ignore him when he does that, lol.

Cracking my knuckles is my second favorite stim (next to playing with my mustache). I also like to crack my ankles, knees, toes, wrists, elbows, neck, and shoulders.

I've cracked my joints since 3rd grade. Not nearly as much any more though.

I used to crack my knuckles alot, until I got arthritis pretty bad and it causes my hand to hurt. Now I just crack my knuckles when they get a bit stiff and hard to move. I also crack my neck when it gets a bit stiff. I'll pop my ankle sometimes by rotating it.

Sometimes when I sneeze my back cracks. If I bend my elbow a certain way and keep it bent for a while when I straighten it it cracks. My knees crack by themselves, I can't control that.

It doesn't matter if I mean to or not. If I sit too long, I pop when I stand up. I can't help it.

Safe neck stretch -

1) Raise your arm and press your fist against the side of your head. Push your head and fist firmly against one another and then increase pressure until you're using all your strength. Stop at any point if you feel pain. Your neck and shoulder should make a nice series of cracks.

2) Push your chin down as far onto your chest, until the whole length of the back of your neck feels tight. Rock your head from left to right slowly and repeatedly, stopping if you have any painful sensations. This one will crack your upper back and neck.

Hi guys,
 Lol that’s what neurotypicals do when I message them.
Thank god I found I found here 8O
I just wanna say I also crack my whole back, I worked out a way to lie off my bed and hang upside down, finding the right place on my spine, that I feel the pressure point is best, further down further up, depending on the day, I lock that spine specifically into the edge of the mattress, hang off my bed and relax, feel where the best side is to focus on, kinda like a cranio osteopath. I do this by placing my hands behind my head at the top of my neck, and I pull my whole back, as if to release all the spine away from gravitational pull, this seems to pop pop pop a synchronised mechanical release. Which feels wonderful. Yet I found out that asmr also helps this spinal issue without the need of cracking
