Well, I see that vertigo is not an AS thing... :-)

If anyone has heard of the Mindbender at West Edmonton Mall, I was on it the day before it killed 3 people and paralyzed a 4th. I have been back on it a couple of times since then, the ride was redesigned, and is one of the safest roller coasters, because of all the safety checks done on it. The Mindbender is the worlds largest indoor triple loop roller coasters.

^ Hooray for Schwarzkopf!

I'm an amusement park enthusiast and I will ride whatever I can go on. Some coasters are better than others. Son of Beast at Kings Island, for example, is one of the roughest and most violent wooden coasters out there and ranks very low in terms of enjoyability. At the other end are rides like El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure and Balder at Liseberg. They were designed like a steel coaster and almost ride like one, while providing plenty of airtime.

I personally prefer speed and airtime over inversions, and when it comes to manufacturers, I prefer B&M (they make Raptor, Mantis, Batman - The Ride, Superman - Ultimate Flight, Nemesis, and Montu), Intamin (they make the Giant Drop mentioned above, as well as Millennium Force, El Toro, California Screamin', and Top Thrill Dragster), and GCI (Kentucky Rumbler, Gwazi, Thunderhead) over Arrow (Corkscrew, Magnum XL 200, Demon, Gemini), and Vekoma (Mind Eraser, Boomerang).

I like that big wooden one at Silverwood that goes through the gift shop, but I only like it if I have earplugs and no one sitting next to me.

I enjoy them. My favorites are the Scream Machine and Turbo at Six Flags Great Adventure. I haven't been on one in years, unfortunately.

The first one I ever rode was a small one at a shopping mall when I was a kid. I was so terrified they had to stop it and let me off. Over sensory stimulation to the max!

I have ridden some as an adult but found them an experience to be endured, not enjoyed. I stay clear of them these days.

I love Rollercoasters; the more intense, the better.

I live about 30 miles from a small theme park, which has a tame steel roller coaster, an average wooden roller coaster (it was once the highest wooden coaster in Europe) and a pretty intense new steel roller coaster, with a loop, corkscrews and an almost vertical lift hill.

I'm also interested in the design of roller coasters. I have Roller Coaster Tycoon (the original version, not the crappy RCT3) to thank for that. If I ever go to the US of A, I will definitely go to one of the top theme parks and go on all the coasters. The ones in the UK are, well, tame for the most part.

yeah, that reminds me of the "Coaster Works" for the Dreamcast - fantastic game but sadly short-lived (was fun when you reached the end and you could design with 'no limits'). i spent a good number of hours playing this simulator - highly recommended for any amateur coaster designers

Just watching them is enough of a roller coaster ride for me. But yeah, I guess vertigo and autism are independent variables.

A friend took me in that entrance of the mall once, and I had no idea. The thing started and I got dizzy just watching the first descent. Then, as I proceeded down the ramp, it did a loop-the-loop around the ramp and I almost fell over. That was enough for me.

I love rollercoasters. I don't like ones you have to stand up on, because after waiting so long in line, I need to sit down. My favorite coasters so far are the Beast and the Raptor. I haven't been to Cedar Point for a long time, since my kids were born. I haven't even been on Millennium Force. My wife doesn't like rollercoasters that are too high or go upside-down. I like getting off the Raptor and feeling disoriented. It's great. The only thing I don't like about rollercoasters are the lines.

I've only been on a few, mostly at Universal Studios in Orlando. I really enjoyed The Hulk ride.

I like looking at the roller coasters especially if they have a cool design but I don't like roller coasters that shoot down. I don't like looped roller coasters. I don't find amusement parks amusing. Too many people. Too many sounds. Too much screaming. Too many lines.

I do however enjoy the slow moving rides on the water.

When I was in line for one of them I was actualy shakeing, one of those moments where you think what made me think I ciuld do this. Once I have done one and my adrenaline kicks in I start being realy cocky but I was not going to let him take me on this

Omg I went on that ride at dream world! (the one in the youtube video you posted). In all honesty, it's not as scary as it looks. It goes so fast that you don't have enough time to get scared or worry about heights. I went on it three times (not all in a row) just for the sake of it.

I love rollercoasters and any other adrenaline rush-provoking rides at theme parks. I went on the rollercoaster called "Lethal Weapon" at MovieWorld, in the Gold Coast and it was awesome! I went on it a second time by myself as my aunty and cousin were too busy feeling ill after the ride.
