Do you feel angry when someone makes an illogical argument?

I hate it when people try to make a poor argument and defend it against perfectly valid criticism. Then act like they were being ironic all along and you're ret*d for not realizing this. When people start getting all emotional and "invested" in their arguments, then all hell breaks loose and you become a total bastard for trying to educate them a little or even for trying to argue in a serious and cogent manner when they are acting like immature, internet trolls. Then I get really angry , Hulk-smash angry. :twisted:

Perhaps the most annoying thing is when somebody makes an illogical argument, and you explain the logical fallacy, and the person then responds with an argument that logic isn't important to the issue at hand. It usually follows the form, "You know, logic isn't everything."

I tend to interpret that to mean, "I believe I am correct. Since I can't formulate a logical argument to demonstrate this, logic isn't relevant."

Argh.
