You try explaining it, all of those questions were ''depends on'' circumstances

I would give it a margin of error of +/- 5, depending on those circumstances.

I scored 37. I am not diagnosed yet but my assessment (with a psych who specialises in Asperger's) is in 9 days time.

I gave it a go three times, and got 33, 43, and 38. I'm going for the 38 one- in between, you see. its not a bad quiz. im self diagnosed, see, and i took every aspie quiz going when i was in the research process.

I think my AQ level only tells me how I perceive myself. Right now I'm sort of in a non autistic mode and I try to be honest on the test... but it still shows. Still... I never got especially high on the test even if normally higher. Because I just hate math, dates car plates and stuff like that.

43 as of five years ago.
Psych says I'm definitely on the spectrum but as a socially capable but quirky 58 year old how definite a diagnosis do I need? I go to a fortnightly AS support group where some of my fellow ASs need the support services far more than I do so I choose to self-medicate with plenty of time spent alone.
I managed to score a 48 once when I approached it from the point of view of things that I didn't get or upset me as a child. As an older Aspie I think it's the childhood/adolescent adjustment thing that causes much of the conflicts. I was lucky. I didn't have siblings to deal with and a mother who - while I now know had the words 'possibly autistic' spoken to her - treated me as a normal child.

44...still working on this diagnosis thing. Every time I take that test I'm always surprised the number comes out so high, lol. I never expect it to for some reason.
