I would pick a name that does not include the diagnosis. Some generic sounding private school name, like "Springhill Academy" or something like that.

If your students will be attending college or joining the workforce, there's no need to put their diagnosis in the name of their school. That transcript will follow them everywhere.

In my area, there are a few autism schools and none of the names address autism....but, we know it's the local autism school. There is an Asperger's school that puts Aspergers in the title, but I don't care for the name.

Academy of Arts and Sciences

Sorry it's not creative but it sounds nice and respectable, doesn't it?

I am assuming people learn about the particular autism-oriented learning style through descriptions on your website or something, so I don't think that needs to be in the name.

Or name it after the founder, if one of you has a really cool name. Like "Max Power's Academy".

Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?
School of Hidden Wisdom?
Bogden Jedi Training Facility?
Starfleet Academy?

Oh wait, those are all taken...

Haha. Yeah. I just remembered another one:

"Derek Zoolander Center For Children Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too"

I hear a lot of people suggesting keeping it simple and discrete. I hadn't thought about colleges looking at applications. That's a good point.
I wonder if MIT would hire someone from the Nuclear Cheese Academy.
