The real stuff has always been more appealing to me. I used to play with toy guns as a kid and enjoy that alot. But as i got older i got a real ww2 machine pistol, ofcourse it's barrel etc are all welded so it cannot be fired. Firearms are illegal here so i can't own the real thing without going to jail for it. Replica's of battleships, panzers etc are cool though.

Heck, I still like going on the swings at playgrounds

The crappy safety swings they make now pinch your butt!
Have lots of kids & then grandkids! But it doesn't look good if you won't share your toys with them.

I feel weird if I go there but yes I do want to go on swings. a friend of mine goes there a lot (he's 17 year old; now a senior in his HS, and a /b/tard.) I felt better then. Meh...eh.

Still sometimes play with "toys". should play witt Legos more.

Other than that, video games.

I played with my toys and dolls past a socially "acceptable" age, but I have lost the ability to know what to do with toys as I've grown older. I play the Sims (2) frequently, which is probably a doll's house replacement, and neopets, which is generally considered to be a children's website, but I haven't grown out of it at all (and don't plan to :)) .

I love toys, especially the older & simpler varieties. I don't just collect them; I also play with them. Why should anyone ever stop playing?

I bet most adults would publicly play with toys if it was socially acceptable. I bet we aspies are more likely than average to play as adults because we are less likely to be aware of what's considering socially acceptable, or care.

I still play with toys. The ones I most commonly play with are Lego, plush animals, color books and small cars and I'm currently looking for a nice little toy boat to play with in the bathtub.

I've sort've outgrown action figures and cars, but other than that, I still like toys. I love Nerf balls, and I mean the original versions that were introduced back in 1970, when they were more spongey than dense. The 1970 model are still available online, but another company named Poof-Slinky currently makes these versions. I have numerous 4" and bigger 7" diameter balls and I'm planning on getting more. I play basketball with these in my room a lot. My family is based on youth. It's great.

I don't play with them anymore, but I still love my toys. Every once and a while I'll take them out and look at them, admire them. But do I still run around pretending to be Sailor Moon? No. It's more so enjoying the memory for me. But still, I don't think I could ever give away the majority of my toys, among other things. I also love cartoons, and watch them alot.
