Not at all since I changed to using both hands/left hand too.

Which means that apparently my bit of confusion (it was never much) of where left if and where right was due to false handedness.

I also know well about the cardinal points.

I do have trouble with left and right, also with east and west. These terms seem arbitrary to me, and left and right seem to be mixed up with or incorporated into east and west. Sometimes it seems that left/right/east/west are dependent on my own geographical position. I always find it amazing how, while standing in front of a mirror and raising my right arm, it would become my left arm if I were to somehow get inside of the mirror and look out on my self. I know that sounds crazy, but this little exercise boggles my mind.

Yep..I have always had a problem with it.
I am left-handed.
I have worn a ring on my left hand since I was in the 3rd grade.
Before that, I would have to try to hold something like it was a pencil in order to tell that was my left hand.

I used to have a problem with left and right but I seem to learn to remember some how through or for video games.

I think for an instant, and then ask, 'mine or yours?' As people never let it known which "left" they mean when they're facing a different bearing than you are, i.e., their left or yours.

Other than that, I'm fine with left and right (i.e., if someone is sharing the same relative position as I am in relation to what bearing we're facing).

yes I had problems too when I was much younger, I still have it occasionally, but more often when I am reading books and they are describing directions I have a hard time visualising that.

See I'm the exact opposite. My talents have always been centered around spacial relations. I always know what direction North is and I remember the layouts of things well.

That's normal. It just shows that you've thought about it on a higher level. Knowing which is left and which is right is generally a yes as you have asked "whos?"

Thinking about left, right, north, south, east, and west usually requires the giving of my full attention. It's been this way from day one.

Sometimes I have difficulties, telling the difference. But most of the time it's not really a problem.
It got worse over time. As far as I remember, I have always as child been good telling the difference. But today I somtimes get confused.

I'm shocking with and right. I'll always be able to tell you due North down to the exact degree, but can't for the life of me directions. It's like "Ok, go straight then take the first left, then the next right... no no no, I mean take the first right, then left... no... wait... uhhh... *holds up hands in L shape* Ok no I was right the first time, it's *turns in direction whilst speaking* left then right, then lef- ...right again, then right... gahhh give me a map!!"

heheh, yeah, same here... 5 driving license tests failed because of that ;p

I'm thinking about tatooing a little L on my left palm and a little R on the right. it's hard to find the right spot though-need to see them well on the steering wheel but don't really want to flash them around to people. anyone have any suggestions? ;D
