Actually a little bit. That won't stop me from watching all the fully uploaded JLU/Batman beyond shows on youtube, but there are certain people who I don't want to know that I watch them.

No, just bored. They no longer hold my interest.

I don't watch cartoons as much these days, but I used to until a few years ago. I still watch them, but I prefer live action stuff. Such as Smallville for example, or other old series, Batman of the 60's (or thereabouts :D)

I often watch Cartoons (mostly action ones) and I like the way one can see things (in some of them) that you most likely miss as a child.

On top of that I also read lot's of grapic novels and I must say that I much perfer the older stuff by the likes of Stan Lee (debateable) and Jack Kirby that were written for kids and teens years before I was even born, over the darker and gritter kind that we get today.

If I had to choose between a Silver Age (or even Golden Age) Marvel Masterwork book or a morden day comic book or reprint of a resent storyline I must say that the Masterwork would get bought while the morden day one would stay on he shelf.

So no I'm fine with my watching/reading them.

Goodbye till next time

I don't watch superhero cartoons, but I've recently become very interested in a live-action children's show that aired on the Disney Channel in the early to mid 90s. I admit that I'm pretty embarrassed about how much I like it. In fact, I feel my face turning red as I type this! But it truly is a great show - the acting is pretty good, the sets/costumes are nice and it's educational (despite being way out of the target demographic, I've learned a few things from it). Best of all, it's totally light-hearted. I always get upset when I watch a movie/show and something tragic happens to a character I like. But I never have to worry about it with this particular show.

In case you were wondering, the show is called "Adventures in Wonderland".

Not anymore. I'm perfectly fine with people knowing how fond I am of Batman and Captain Planet. If they like them too, that's great. If they don't, it's my time, and if I want to invest it in watching these cartoons, I will.

NO! And neither should anyone else.

Seriously, Batman: The Animated Series is more sophisticated than most live actions shows I've seen.

Heck no.

It bugs me when people are too 'mature' to indulge their inner child on occasion. Whatever. And they tell me to lighten up?

The super hero cartoon shows and movies that have been coming out are generally very high quality. There is no reason to feel embarrassed about watching them. They are flipping fantastic.

I don't watch saturday-morning cartoons, but I am an anime geek. And I don't think I'm ever going to stop enjoying comic books and videogames, either.

I think it's mostly in the US that cartoons are considered "kid's fare." In Japan, cartoons are often done for adults as well as kids.

I would admit readily that I watch cartoons- some of my favorites were Dexter's Laboratory, Fairly OddParents, and a bunch more.
When I went to visit my cousin, her husband's brother would always be sitting around watching Gargoyles on satellite Tv. However, as her husband and his brother were Mexican, it was dubbed-over in Spanish and called Gargolas. :P

What's wrong with that? I've rediscovered some old cartoons on YouTube.

It's just *nostalgia*, right?
