I think this begs the question as to which came first, an extra inclination to accidents because of being Aspie, or exacerbating the condition because of an accident.
My son took a lot of hard bonks to his head but it struck me that it was due to the personality he was born with: extra curious, extra mobile, and not at all ready to accept the limits placed on him even though they were for his own safety.
He was an emergency C birth, and some loss of oxygen was involved, but I don't think it made him Aspie (we've got a pretty strong genetic trace) but it could be why some of his related conditions are so much worse - severe motor skill issues, sensory issues, etc.
They gather all this sort of information in the diagnosis process so someone somewhere must have some official stat on what types of corillaries exit.
