The only person I know who definitely has synesthesia almost certainly does not have AS.

I see everything I hear and feel most of it. So music to me can easily be ecstasy or agony. It's nice to be able to control my environment and surround myself by happy, beautiful sounds. Doesn't alwas work that way but nice when it does.

This is called 'mirror-touch synesthesia'.
