This one? http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html

I tried it earlier today and on the next page it just showed some cgi code. I'll try later on today when I get some time to see if it works.

How to score: "Definitely agree" or "Slightly agree" responses to questions 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 33, 35, 39, 41, 42, 43, 45, 46 score 1 point. "Definitely disagree" or "Slightly disagree" responses to questions 1, 3, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 40, 44, 47, 48, 49, 50 score 1 point.

the cut off to Asperger's Syndrome is 32. The higher you score, the more AS you are.

One is not either AS or NOT AS - one is just somewhere on the scale.

I agree - even in clinical chemistry, where patient blood samples are objectively tested for evidence of various ailments, the result can't tell you if somebody has a particular disorder or not - it can only tell you the PROBABILITY that they have it, and that probability will never be 100% or 0%, no matter how carefully the test is done.

Must be even more like that with psychological tests. Personally I long for clear-cut cunclusions, and find it very frustrating to not know a thing for sure. Don't know if that's down to AS or just insecurity.

By the way, I love that avatar, MemberSix - my computer gave me that error message once. It caused me to stop blaming myself so often when I couldn't get the machine to work
