I am.

I hate being insulted. I guess I tend to relive it & mull over it multiple times to see what I could have done differently to avoid the whole situation.

Yes that has happened to me.

You and me(and everyone this applies to for that matter) should really work on this.

Hmm just thought of something. Anyone take antidepressants that notice insults have less of an affect on you(your able to shrug them off easier) than prior to taking meds?

That's pretty pathetic. Also, your avatar is pretentious (sucks).

Pay attention in school, you're clearly failing in English class.

Depends on who the insult is coming from. If it's someone I respect or close to me, then yes, but I couldn't care less what random people have to say.
I have a much more difficult time with interpretation, and tend to take things as an insult or attack that (supposedly) weren't intended to be.

As my university income tax professor once said, "You can answer just about any question with the words, 'It depends,'" but judging from my own personal experience, I'd say probably yes. Actually, first I have to decide whether the insulter is only kidding with me or not. Usually it is just a joke, but if I decided that the insulter was serious, I'd probably be seriously hurt, maybe even to the point of tears. I believe now that I took an excessive amount of verbal abuse from my brother, which caused me to have low self-esteem. I think that aspies have to work harder psychologically to be accepted in society than NT's, and insults go right to that hard work.

I personally do.

A woman at work called me weird and I ran out crying. This was only a few years ago.
