Need names of AS/ASD/LD authors, past and present

That is great, THANK you! Do you know if they have one for authors with learning disabilities, since the nonprofit is for adults with all types of learning disabilities as well?

Couldn't find one, think LD is too broad an umbrella term for this purpose (unless someone else can find a list that I missed).
I know, I know: the ASD spectrum dx is also rather nonspecific seeming-or so it can seem, at times, when used in popular media parlance.

One would perhaps do better by searching for specific "neurodiverse" issues (Tourette's, OCD, Dyslexia, NVLD, sensory integration problems, etc.) & authors within those groupings. Those are not all "LD", but am unsure what the boundaries of the dx are. Depends on how you define, what the category includes.

What is LD please?

Learning Disabled/Learning Disorder. Actually, I've always considered that term to be a misnomer, since those of us with LD's are NOT dumb or unable to learn. In fact, we're of average or above-average intelligence. Also, since most LD's have to do with sensory integration and processing of sensory information, they affect much more than just learning and education. They don't magically disappear as we walk through the door of adulthood, they just manifest in different areas, such as employment. Same is true, of course, for AS/ASD.

Hence the name of my nonprofit, Learning Enabled, Inc.
