former bully

I got add requests on myspace from former bullies. I was thinking "OMG are you serious?" but out of curiosity I let them add me. I wanted to see how they'd act (plus my husband kept saying "maybe they've changed and feel bad and want to be your friend") They just acted as if nothing had happened, as if they'd never bullied me. They said hi, you look good, just formalities really and then ignored me. So I just decided screw it. I posted a blog about how I was bullied and I couldn't believe that they had the audacity to try to add me and that I'd be cleaning out my friends list. After a few days I deleted them and that was the end of it. I could see that they hadn't changed and I wanted them to know that I remembered those horrible days but that I was still ok and had grew up and went on in life. I wonder if it was eye opening to them to see me finally stand up for myself even if it was online.
