I've had a great deal of trouble with doubt... The thing is, I can't just go for "I'm an atheist now", either, because I'd doubt that even more.

I question everything.

I have a feeling God doesn't hate me for it... it's honest questioning, and I can't seem to help it...

it's your right as a human being to question everything, and it would lead you to knowledge , which is the key to the Truth , which shall set you free :)

Great. Didn't know if anyone would respond

I really miss fellowship as I've lost my few friends and don't attend church anymore. It gets lonely sometimes. Pm me anytime people.

I grew up in a conservative church and became almost penecostal, but have leveled out somewhere in the middle. Do you attend services? I tend to listen to services when I can.

I have one baby daughter, husband and some fur babies. I live in a small town in an area that is growing constantly. Not to enthused over that.

So do you want God to free you of Aspergers or do you get upset with Him for having this nuerologically different brain?

I am, in the sense that I believe. But I don't live by the bible though. Plus, I could care less what everyone else believes. I'm against forcing religion down people's throats. That's why most people hate Christians to begin with. I mean come on, are you going to like something that's forced down your throat? Or the person(s) doing it?

Yeah. I have seen believers who have forgotten the verses where Jesus says Speak the Gospel as you know to do and if people do not believe move on.

Choice is choice and we all are given the right to go our own way and risk whatever the Lord in the end chooses for us to bare or accept His Son and live forever with the Trinity. I know I have a few relatives that I don't know were they are at belief wise, but there is no fence. One either accepts the hand of the Lord or walks away, but the Lord will come after you if there is even the slightest chance of turning to Him. His grace, patience and love is Well it's just amazing you know?

Yes. That is what Christianity is truly about. Yet most Christians are so concerned with telling others that they will go to Hell for doing this, that, or the other that they are oblivious to it. It is for that reason that I don't like to go to church anymore.

Sometimes I wish my cross weren't so heavy. I think we all do. But I have a way of just accepting suffering without getting overly bitter or angry about it.

I was raised Christian. It didn't work out. I tried very hard, but there is no place for someone like me in the church. That's okay though, I'm happy on the outside.

What's this topic about? Just a tally of how many Christian Aspies there are?

And it's okay slowmutant, being Aspie isn't that bad. It can be hard, but I think you're doing great. Who needs normal?

Malsane, why do say this? Because of your sexuality?

I don't mind if people have a thing or two discuss in the thread, but the original post is to find others with Christian beliefs to interact with. And finding other Aspies is a bonus, because they understand how it is to be less capable to fellowship socially with other believers. Bottom line is I'm lonely for that...

Are you a believer, Dent? Or are you just here to ridicule us?

I'm a conservative Christian but I am not Protestant, but neither am I Catholic. I don't begrudge God for my Asperger's, but I don't like some parts of it. I try to attend a Baptist church, though I don't agree with everything the Baptists believe.

It is nice finding other Christians with Asperger's. :D

I'm a Christian too (conservative Lutheran). And hopefully soon becoming a master of theology. :D
