To me energy drinks differ from simple caffeine because my ADHD does the opposite effect with caffeine making me sleepy and zoned out.

Today since I only had 3 hours of sleep before my really early class in my univ., I chugged a vault at the right time, and found almost supernatural powers. First I cleaned the apt. to make it somewhat available to my friend's prospective student guests. I was really acting out in the english class, but for the most part, I was focused and quick thinking. I keep sprucing up the place, it's really weird. This drink, if used correctly seems to have a very positive effect instead of what normally happens (omg he's way too hyper).

Am ADHD Inattentive and coffee (Yuban Colombian), Pepsi (regular), and Coca-Coca (regular) help a little due to the caffeine (not a cure). When I move into energy drinks, the energy drinks do not work for me due to so many different items put into them including tea extracts. Coffee/caffeine soft drinks do noticeably wake me up a little. I have not tried the carbonated beverage known as Vault.

I drink a Monster Java every morning. A couple times I've just been completely wired afterwards but usually it just wakes me up and keeps me from dragging ass halfway through my workday. I used to do 2 a day but cut back to one to save money. I do notice, however, that I'll get a bad headache if I haven't had one by noon.

Yuck! Can't believe everyone is putting so much poison in their body.

First time I had Mother I was super hyperactive.
Now all energy drinks just make me sick, unfocused and brain foggy. Do not like.

All I drink is water.

Caffiene is too much of a stimulant for me. But I have noticed the effect of glucose on my brain. It seems to hype it up. the brain uses a lot of your body energy so I imagine downing a load of glucose will literally go "straight to your head."

Energy drinks and caffeine don't really have an effect on me. However, I haven't drunk an energy drink in years, and I don't drink coffee or Mountain Dew. I drink soda every other week at the most, and even though I eat something with chocolate in it pretty much every day, chocolate doesn't have much caffeine.

It is a Coca-Cola brand they have at my univ. but idk. It's like what Surge was in the 90s (I definitely didn't get near that stuff during that age).

SURGE was freakin' awesome! Nothing like vault is today, another disgusting attempt by coke to make a mountain dew-like soda.

Back on topic: Caffeine does not do much for me either, if i go for a couple weeks without it, it will have an effect, but considering i drink 40-60 ounces of MD every day, i think im immune to caffeine.

AMP energy and monster both cause colon upset with me, i think its the herbs and extracts in it, red bull does not affect me.

There are people who drink them for taste? That's news to me.
I find them helpful once in awhile, but I can't drink them often or I go crazy.

Uhh yeah? NOS, Full Throttle (original, in the black can) and Monster Taste great as does Jolt Blue. Rockstar and Jolt Cola taste horrible.

I get almost no effect from energy drinks. After 2-3 Arizona RX Energys I find it hard to sleep but that's after 2-3 drinks, which is uncommon for me.

The last time I had an energy drink (5 Hour) I cannot even describe what happened. I think it hastened some hypoglycemia. I lost strength/control over the fingers on my right hand for about 5 minutes and had some kind of strange sense of spatial distortion in my brain.

It helped me with some writing, though.

Mostly, I drink soda, water, and coffee. Caffeine helps slow my thoughts down and occasionally helps me get stuff done. It's not extremely reliable though, and I'd just as soon see the back of it.
