Notion? :? I thought that was fact. I've always been told that, and it seems true, so I think it is a fact...

XD Most of my wardrobe.... is made of black clothing.

Turquoise, Brown, White, Beige and Blue, yes indeed. Orange, Purple, GREEN (Hate green!) and black no. Although began incorporating black in the last few years, challenged myself.

Love being under water or toasty dry, severly dislike the uncomfortable, sticky, weird in between state.

Some truth in that, silver clothes would in theory be cooler, though I doubt if the colour would make much difference. Nothing like as much as the other insulation properties of the material, how much of it there is, and the ventilation inherent in the design, I reckon.

I have a few colors I really like to wear and almost all my clothes are in those shades. When they are not currently in fashion, I wear my old stuff. When those colors are in fashion, I invest heavily in new clothes. Since I am very picky, very comfort-driven, short, thin, and not a teenager (ie, not a desirable demographic), nobody makes clothes with me in mind, therefore I have very few clothes at all, compared to most women. And half of them (my clothes) are running/hiking stuff.

I couldn't wear jeans until a few years ago, now they're the only things I'll wear. I wore solely cord trousers until then. It takes me ages to get used to new clothes, but when I do I get too accustomed to them. :)

As for colours, I've only ever been comfortable in dark colours and 'earthy' shades.

I HATE anything lacy always have always will!! ! I HATE shorts and showing my legs but have made an exception (going to the gym) but for that I have only 2 shorts a pair of regular black ones and gym shorts. Also when it comes to clothes I'm a shirt/jean basic person I have two feminine IMO shirts and that's it it's usually basic t shirt/jeans. I've even worn Christmas shirts in the summer LOL! It didn't bother me none. :-)

I'll wear almost any color, excpet I feel odd in pinks and purples.

What really gets me is when clothes are skin-tight, or close to it. I usually buy everything a size or so bigger, becuase I feel constricted otherwise. The only things I don't buy bigger are undergarmets, socks, and shoes. I love the way a baggy t shirt feels, the ones that have normal, not-capped sleeves. Some people say I dress like a boy, which I suppose in some cases might be true. I prefer the term tomboy, however. ^^

I'll wear every colour except yellow... ugh, I hate yellow. But I can wear pretty much any type of clothing in any type of material.
Skin-tights, baggy, normal... it doesn't really matter.

I won't wear bright colours. It makes me feel nervous, conspicuous. If my clothes aren't brown, black or grey, they're "K Tone" colours like you get if you mix the pure pigment with a grey base instead of a white one.

I actually am conspicious anyway, as I dress oddly and wear an old-fashioned hat, but I don't feel it. If I was dressed the same as everybody else and in bright colours, I'd be cringing with the urge to hide even though in actuality I'd stand out less.

I can't wear purple. It smells terrible and makes me nervous. I won't have it in my house and I hate it if it is in my workplace. All shades are gross but light shades are the worst.

I absolutely love the colour turquoise but I can't wear it.
I feel cheap and tacky in it.
I used to have bright pink hair that was down my back in length. It was nice but a nuisance to keep up.

When I am really having an adventurous day I might wear three different colours. Say blue jeans, red top, and brown boots.
I am aware that I have done this and I have to mention it to those I am close to as it is such a big thing for me.
Colours can't really affect me as I paint all day so I have to be a little bit numb to it.

Not for me, I don't find colors to really bother me.

Unless of course I wore pink in public, I think I'd feel a tad uncomfortable. :? But I'm sure it's that way with everyone, hence the people who somehow think it's cool.
