all I remember is tying my shoes in kindergarten. Actually, I had someone slip me a 'tied' shoe card under the table, and passed the test...;)

I had trouble learning how to tie my shoes because I could not understand the geometry or purpose. There was no diagram of how to do it and there was more than one way to do so as well. I mean do you do it to keep your shoes on or do you do it to decorate them with a bow.

I could never do the loop properly. I would basically make each lace 'O' shaped and tie them both together. I have no idea when it finally sunk in. I remember in year one I had velcro straps on my shoes, much to the annoyance of my teachers because I'd make a lot of noise with them.

When I was 13 I had to wear a tie to school. I never did it right.

I still have horrible coordination on a bike.

learn how to ride a bike (without training wheels of course)? 7-8, got my first two wheeler for my 6th birthday, it took me 1.5-2 years to learn the balance.
tie shoes? 6, though I mostly wore strap-ons until 10.
potty train? 3, I had started earlier but then refused to learn until my #2brother learned.
walk? Not sure, I know I was walking and running by 3.
talk? Within my first year of living.

I still remember the day I learned how to tie shoes! Was an extremely happy moment, lined up all the shoes in the whole house and showed my mom. I think I was in first or second grade, which would have made me around 6 or 7.

I've asked my mom about a few things from my childhood after learning about Asperger's, and she gets REAL uptight. "Can't remember" :x . I don't know when I walked, talked, or started reading. I know I was reading around kindergarten, but other than that it's a blank...

Potty train? I don't remember, but I know it was before kindergarten.

Bike... I believe my brother was given a bike before I was, and I am 3 years older... :( There may have been a reason for that. :?
