warm fruits aren't unusual...when you make pies and such, fruits are warm...you make cider with them....slushy drink, however, i don't know never had a warm slushy and it contradicts the purpose of a slushy.....does he do that to ice cream? cause that too like the slushy would be quite unusual....

hmm..well he doesn't like ice cream, but he does like popsicles (i just remembered). but whenever i make him a fruit drink from frozen fruits, he always asks me to microwave it. he's also asked me to microwave sandwiches.

microwave sandwiches, ehm do you have a toaster or a toaster oven? xD
sandwiches can be warm but yeah its usually toasted not microwaved....does he eat the popsicles as they are or microwaves them? well some people can't handle frozen drinks....my mother waits for frozen fruit drinks to warm up, she leaves it out for a while before she drinks like when we go to jamba juice...ask for drinks without ice...but its not extreme to where she has puts sandwiches in the microwave...

my dad is like zghost's dad..just a matter of preference, i think...

i think he simply doesn't like cold foods straight out of the fridge...does he eat room temperature fruits? i don't think you have much to worry about, at least he's eating fruit even if it's microwaved...

No.

Corn-flour feels wrong!! !! I have to do a tempura or battered vegetables for a Japanese shop and it got so bad, I point blank refused to do any more tempura until the regular flour was used. Feeling all plastic-like, almost freaked out ...

funny that you say this, but the feeling of flour, baby powder or anything even close to that consistency has always driven me crazy!! the feeling of it on my hands just kills me.

My 5 year old son will not eat anything cold. He does like his drinks cold, but doesn't care for anything fizzy like pop. I've never thought about heating up lunchmeat or anything else that is normally served cold. Thanks for the idea! My son is nonverbal, so he can't ask for specific things, and his diet is so very limited by him that I'm always looking for new ideas to expand his choices.

I had exreme food issues. They had to do with texture and also with toleration.

It may just be part of sensory issues. Does he have other sense issues?

I also have all my food heated up. Cold food is like vomit to me and I can't taste it.
