There are 4 autistic and 2 borderline people in my family. Our types are (sorted by age):

ISTJ -aspie
ISFJ -borderline
INTP -aspie
INTP -borderline
INTP -autistic
INFP -autistic

The weird thing is all the women who married into the family are NT and have ESXX, somehow that didn't mix in too well.

Gosh this is so outdated now. I think we have greater diversity now.

INTJ - aspie
ISFP - borderline
ENTP - aspie
INFJ - borderline
ENTP -autistic
ISFP - autistic

As long as you consider the MBTI and the Enneagram methods as mere descriptors of human personality, then one is just as effective as the other.

But if you're looking for some kind of "spiritual" or supernatural connection, then you may as well use Astrology, Tarot cards, or reading the entrails of dead animals.

The very first thing I tested as was INFJ, considered INFP too before I understood the functions, have a blurry F vs. T and J vs. P dichotomy. If my thinking function is dominant over my feeling function is blurry with my focus.

For enneagram, at first, I went with 4w5. Now I know I'm not a core 4, but I have the influence of 4 somewhere because my identity is sacred to me, but I'm not an image triad type, if it be in wing or fix form. I lean more towards being a 5w4 with 9ish tendencies sp/so. Even though 5s may not appear emotive on the outside, they are a deeply sensitive type, which is why they isolate from the world. I relate to hoarding knowledge on topics and taking security in this, operating on a level of anxiety. But I act very 9ish in a social setting and a big part of me is not wanting to rock the boat, being agreeable.

I've been considering xNTP 9w1 because high fe + 9 would not really make sense for me and I would be a higher ti type if I were a 9. And again, my 9 is very obvious to people, but something about INFx 9w1 seems off to me.

I came out as a type 9, taking wings into account I seem to be 4w5 or 5w4. I am INFP, everything I do is based on the strong emotions inside my head, I feel very guilty when I hurt others yet hate it when others try to crush me. I am very individualist and wary of people around me. I am a peacemaker and I prefer calm environments without conflict. When there is conflict, I am prone to destructive meltdowns. Over time I have trained myself to internalize my meltdowns. Not sure if that's healthy?

Haven't done the enneagram thing, but I don't fit neatly into one MBTI category. Depending on my mood, I can come out as either N or S and F or T, though I test as strongly J and max I every time I do MBTI. I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when I was in fourth grade, but these days the description of level 2 autism seems to fit me best.

Anyone else a 9w8 INTP? Seems like a weird combo even for neurotypicals lol.
