What I found funny was that the following topic appeared alongside yours,in a curious case of
synchronicity :)

"The sound of wind blowing"
quote="starvingartist"]anyone else find this noise incredibly annoying? i become seriously irritated on windy days--if i'm outside it's the sound of the wind blowing past my ears that does it (let alone how it messes up my hair and pulls at my clothes :x ) ....if i'm inside then it's the sound of the wind in the eaves, or blowing past a draft in the window....is this just me? makes it very difficult for me to concentrate when i'm trying to work indoors and there is a constant sound of wind at the window (like today  )[/quote]

I am completely obsessed with farting. Or am I?

You should watch Ren & Stimpy if you haven't already.

Actually it is silly, but also perfectly normal. I have heard that some people even leave them in grocery store aisles for others to walk into and appreciate.

Heehee, I was just thinking of that.

"Would you like a monkey claw Phillip?"
"Yes please."
*fart*
"That's called the monkey claw because it feels like my colon is being ripped apart by a thousand monkeys."
"The monkey claw is smelly."

Farts always make me laugh. Don't think that I'd consider it an obsession, but I figured I was just easily amused.

What about dog farts? I notice they're usually of the silent but deadly variety. My family’s last dog occasionally ripped audible ones though. Her own farts would scare her and she would get up and run. It was hilarious.

I always wondered if dogs enjoy the smell of their own flatulence as they always spin around and sniff under their tail after they fart. That's how you know it's them and not another person in the room.

Farts are farts, regardless of creature.

The dog we live with has made some farts that have been mistaken for being human because of audibleness and potency, but indeed I heard and smelled it come from the dog.
