and may 2009 be a year that advances the rights of people with ASD and increases public awareness of who we really are. Every outcast group that has ever existed are still people through the conditions that make them exist on the fringes of normal society, we are people as well. We may be different, but it is that difference that should be grasped and understood for the benefit and advancement of society as a whole. Without public awareness, we are just another group of people who need to be madfe into normal members of society or cast out. It may not be NT to be ASD, but we are still normal members of society in some way. may God bless 2009 as the year for persons with ASD.

Thankyou for that lovely speech, Padium, it's most appropriate on NYE, speechifying and toasting and all that.

Hands up, baby, hands up! topic

I always spend New Years Day alone. I like being alone. My kids spend it with others. It is only at other holidays I spend time with them.

I like spending time with my dog, and everyone here at WP!!

Still 50 minutes to go until midnight. (I live in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. We get 2009 a little later. )

I watched the best of Saturday Night Live with Dana Carvey, Dan Ackroyd and Alec Baldwin.
My dog wouldn't stop barking from 8pm-12am because of the fireworks that were a bit too close to my house.
It was just me, the dog and the cats at home.

My husband is deeply entrenched in World of Warcraft, I might as well be alone.
Nope, no plans here, I have to work in the morning.

There is one thing I hate about that game: if you are not careful it will consume your life.

It's not quite 11:30 here, but yes, I am alone with my two cats.

Well, he still goes to work, and we really have nothing better to be doing most of the time..... so I ignore it.
