When you run into people unexpectedly

I cant really talk to them unless its a sentence under ten words and is over quickly. I have to prepare myself for conversations.

They are "rabbits ears"

I haven't really answered your questions and that is not the proper name, but I tend to use them alot to punctuate sentences even if they do not make sense with finger movements.

Someone will come along soon enough to explain what they are in more detail!

if I see them unexpectedly. Doesn't matter how much I might like or even love them. It's like I haven't had a chance to mentally put on the appropriate facade for that particular person and I have no idea what we're supposed to talk about. We're not in the right environment or something.
