Like I put I was told I didn't speak until I was 4 or 5 and only when I had to. However, I recall being called a 'chatter box' and remember feeling offended or not understanding why people was calling me a 'money box' - I thought that's what they meant.

If I am at home, have the day off from work and fairly relaxed I can go thru the entire day without saying anything. If its a stressful day off then I chatter randomly with myself. I have to talk to other people at work, usually customers. I rarely converse with co-workers unless we're talking about books or I am fond of them.

I try to talk to people but I'm very bad at it. I'm ok one on one, but get more people involved and I just go silent.

I never say anything more than a one sentence answer when talking to people.

I would be completely nonverbal if I had much choice. I can easily go for days without speaking and find it perfectly normal.

I used to not want to talk to anyone. Now I talk more, but I find it very hard to get by in the social world.

I try to force myself to talk sometimes, but when I get into a conversation with someone I don't know what to say and it turns out awkward and I usually end up feeling worse than I had before. Image It's discouraging but sometimes you've just got to keep at it to try and get better.

I was at Arby's today eating potato cakes and the entire way there, while there, and way back I hardly said one word to anyone. I was too busy sulking and felt kind of hopeless. I was in a bad mood, definitely. I was in one of my
"oh, why did my mom ever move back here again"
moods.

Same here; though when I DO want to communicate with people, I usually write/type something, cause I have to explain it very thoroughly. Otherwise, I try to keep my chit-chat to a minimum.

I like to talk but i can only manage one person at a time, I can't always express myself correctly and can't talk about something I consider boring. People find it strange that I hardly ever say anything if I'm surrounded by strangers. It makes me feel nervous when people expect me to say something so i usually end up being left out of the discussion.

Throw in that I constantly make a fool of myself unintentionally, and you have perfectly described me.

I do not talk because people don't talk me and i just can't talk to people about nothing.
