I hate trends. I attempted to go along with them in my teens, but failed miserably and ended-up looking as thrown together as I always have and pretty stupid at that. I tried the whole goth thing and... Let's just say it didn't look quite right.

I just buy what I find comfortable. If it fits, is the right material, dark and plain I'm good to go. Jeans or cords, jumpers or cardigans, sturdy boots and heavy coats. I could be mistaken for a homeless person sometimes, but whatever to coordination.

I don't do anything trendy, unless it's comfy and I like it. Overall my wardrobe is pretty basic; athletic pants, other casual pants, capris, t-shirts, and a couple of hoodies. I have some dressier clothes but I wear them only when absolutely necessary and take them off as soon as I can. My pants are neutral colors and my shirts are varied in color and are usually solid colors. I can put on just about any pair of pants and grab any shirt and they will match. Some days I just don't care and if they don't match I still wear them. I only wear socks when absolutely necessary and they usually don't match what I'm wearing. socks are not a piece of clothing to me they serve a function of keeping my feet warm during the winter.

I go shopping and get stuff that catches my eye. I have comfort issues.
I mostly wear jeans. I don't like loose fitting jeans but I cannot take tight fitting shirts.

I wear whatever I want on any given day. If people don't like it, they don't have to look at me.

I buy item by item. If it's cool and I like it and it's in my size, I will try to get it. The problem I face is with pants because I'm very short so finding inseams short enough to even hem is a pain.

I let the weather guide me on what to wear. For that reason, I prefer cargo-pants that convert into cargo-shorts. When it's cold, I'll choose a thicker longsleeve shirt. When it's hot, I'll wear just the shortsleeve shirt that I would normally wear under the longsleeve shirt.

I hate wearing cotton so, I usually have to mailorder my clothes. I never really know what it looks like until I receive it, unless it's a duplicate of something that I like.

You don't need to coordinate when you've only got one outfit style. Figured out it looked okay years ago, and haven't done much to it since.
