you can find wise things in many wise books
E.g. in I. Kant's Critique of Pure Reason or Bronshtein's Handbook of Mathematics.

I am not religious at all, have been an atheist for 37 years, but when finally I ended up being a channel for entities and and powerfull visions (one last weekend where I was visited by Isis, Shiva, Krishna and some anonymous entities) I left that delusion (gods don't exist thing) behind me. I know from the powere within that they are not delusions.
How you do experience such "powers"? At end it your brain how does create a picture of this "powers" or "experiences". Outside your brain there is not evidence (or even an hint of an evidence) which support this "powers". I had a phase in my life when I took my fair share of psychedelic drugs. I know to well that the experiences under the influence of such substances are often so convincing that they can be easily taken for "real".
But I can tell you that with some training you even can overwrite such experiences. Try to invoke your reason during the experience, do some maths, recall bus lines, etc. pp. You will see that you can explain the altered state of mind you are in, even within this state of mind, via the real world surrounding you.
My recommendation: Such experiences can tell you a lot about hidden parts of your mind, but they do not tell you anything about the world outside the 1200 g grey mass in your head.
