Its not a big part of my life to know a woman that has nothing to do with my life has 8 kids, or one that is 70 had one, or what person who has appeared in a movie had one with someone who appeared in a tv series. Maybe thats a big part of your life but it has no impact on mine.

Ditto. And I don't care how many babies Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie adopt either. In fact I am not at all concerned with the lives of famous people in any way, so I care even LESS about how many children they have or adopt, let alone some unwed mother with 6 kids who decides to have 8 more.

So why expose yourself to the media that irritates you? I agree with your sentiment that celebrity/gossip journalism is a waste of time, but I don't expose myself to it - I don't read about it and I don't watch TV. The fact that you're complaining about it suggests you've passively absorbed it, and therefore has more impact on you than me.
