I think that anyone could see this but just have a filter(in their brains)that tells them that this information is not important and they dont notice it or focus on it.Ever try acid? That gets rid of most filters and everything looks important and beautiful, which is why it is hard to function on it.I think AS people may have less filtering ability...advantage and disadvantages to this.

I can, especially when the sun is shining.

There are also dots on the film of your eye that only some people can see. My optometrist said that I could see them I was lucky. (She could see them too.)

Sometimes dead cells in some people's eyes can float around and show up in their vision--this I have; I generally ignore it now, but at first, when it first started, it was annoying.

You don't have to wonder - I'm an NT and I can see it :) My son has AS and loves the dust phenomemon so much that he'll crumple tissues just to spread the dust from them into the air so he can watch it. The light angle does make a difference because the first time I saw him do it I couldn't figure out what the heck he was up to, but then he had me come sit by him in the light :)
