How would you feel about a "quiet day" socially

I would enjoy something like that.

I do it with my son regularly at home. We sort of just do it naturally, it's not planned. But there are times when we're just happy to co-exist without saying anything. There's no better feeling than comfortable silence.

it's actually what i do most days anyway, but within the routined familiarity of my own environment.

"Quiet days" are more or less my default, being in a single room in college. There are some times I wish I had more opportunities for interaction, but this arrangement is highly favorable nevertheless. I really would resent the idea of having a roommate as I simply cannot deal with people on that kind of a level, especially if the guy happens to be a jerk. I talk considerably on MSN Messenger, but I open my mouth to talk to myself much more than I do to talk to other people. The most conversation I'll get is when my mom or dad calls me on my cell phone to check up on me. And Spring Break is coming up soon, too. Just being back home again during Winter Break meant much more conversation than I had been having while away at school.

Or here's a better idea: hang out by your computer and type everything. :)
