Yep! I sing whenever my parents leave the house. I love to sing... Makes me feel happy. But I never ever would dream of doing it infront of people, though I don't want to sound big headed, but I think I can sing quite well... for example getting the right notes etc... but I wouldn't want to prove that to anyone!

Yes!! ! If I'm alone at home or driving in my car, I sing along loudly with everything!!

I've had the misfortune of hearing myself singing recorded and played back and I suck so bad I actually apologized to everyone that I've sung infront of without knowing how bad I am. Lol

But I love to sing! So I do it when I'm alone :D

And I sing quitely in the shower whether someone's home or not lol

I wonder if people think its weird to see someone singing and drumming the steering wheel while driving. When I see someone else singing in their car - it makes my day. (Unless its a carload of screaming teenage girls listening to CRAP.)

This is kind of embarrassing and is going to make me sound kind of old and skanky - but many years ago I was belting to Van Halen - 5150. And lo and behold, Sammy Hagar himself pulled up next to me in his red convertable Ferrari. He smiled at me and gave me the old winky-do, thumbs up - and with a toss of his blond curls, vroooooom - he was gone.

I don't get star struck - but to this day I still wonder, "Did that really happen? That was soooo cheesy!"

This is definitely me. I have the most trouble in the world trying to sing in front of others :x

Which is unfortunate, my friends always tell me I'm a good singer and I need to sing louder =/ I can force myself as long as I know (or am pretty certain) nobody else can hear me, like when nobody's home, and I don't mind anyone listening to recordings of it...but for some reason, I just can't do it in front of them

If it's a song I like and I'm in my car, then yes.

One song that I really love to sing is the intro from Sword in the Stone (the Disney cartoon). It's kind of slow tempo and opera-ish.. I sing that all the time.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? lol

I also especially love Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. I tried to sing that at my computer while my husband was home the other day but he complained XD

I love singing in the car to the radio. However, I always get really paranoid whenever I'm passing someone, behind someone, or at a red light, and that's when I stop.

I also love doing karaoke. I'm definitely not scared at all to do it and I've learned that I'm actually really good at it. I performed in front of around 200 people at a mall last November and nailed it.

Yeah, I sometimes do it on my own because I find it embarassing to sing in front of other people.

I don't but I do love to sing the music from Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Lion King and Aladdin. The whole Mencken - Elton John era...

Brilliant lyrics. Lyrics are very important to me. Check this out - all from memory - so they may be a little screwy.

"Under the sea! Under the Sea! Darling, its better, down where's it's wetter, take it from me!! !"

"Be our guest! Be our guest! Put our service to the test!"

"Hakuna matata, what a wonderful thing! Hakuna matata - ain't no passing thing!"

"I'm in the mood, to help you, dude! You ain't never had a friend like me!"

This is such a happy topic! :D

yeah, I often sing when alone, and I constantly tap to the rhythm or dance, especially when cooking. cooking time is like showtime, I put on loud music and juggle my onions, knives and do some strange dance routines lol.
