I typically score in the low 80's on the old Stanford-Binet test but keep in mind that IQ tests really only provide an indication of possible academic capabilities (ones potential to become educated) and don't actually measure a person intelligence.

You definitely have a higher intelligence than your score would suggest. You seem extremely intelligent! A lot of people seem higher than their IQ score on here.

Unfortunately I am one of those people who do not fit in to well with conventional society in that I have some problems with everyday things that kind of put a barricade up for day to day stuff but I have unusual skills in weird areas that some people want me to do so sometimes I get treated pretty good for a while during a study or over the course of a project by some team so everytyhing evens out in the end over the long run of things.

A few studies have clearly determined that most ASPIES have superior fluid intelligence. While Conventional measures of 'IQ' focus on a subjects 'Crystallized Intelligence' (rote ability), tests of fluid intelligence, such as the RAPM highlight what is called fluid intelligence (basically a product of a number of components, including attention, inhibition of distracting information, attention shifting, and abstraction). While most Aspies show Normal IQ's, there ability to solve problems of higher abstraction are unusually higher (obtaining results, quite often, near the superior range).

I confess that I find these a bit strange, because many aspies have verbal IQ higher than performance IQ, and I think that fluid inteligence is more conected with PIQ than with VIQ. Of course, these can be much affected by the criteria used to disting between AS and HFA.
