It can be quite slow for me too.

We're hogging the web! Just knew it woud come to this. We're nearing the end of cyberspace...just bound to happen. And it's all our fault. Yep, Wrong Planet inhabitants have eclipsed cyberspace.

That and my Gateway is maxed-out.

Except for right this second, most of the time lately its been incredibly slow for me too. 10 hours to load one page....OK maybe not that extreme but you get the point. I think it depends on the time, because since its so late (its around midnight my time as I am posting this) the site is fast for me, but during normal hours its horribly slow.

Technological singularity....

Also, I forgot. this site isn't as slow as others. I remember when spacebattles.com servers were damn slooow in loading, several minutes and all.

well this could mean a good thing, as in more posters/people.

Very slow on occasions

Yes its extremely annoying slow! In particular at this time an hour when its about 500 users on at the same time. I have tried to be here at diffrent times just to compare and see if its a diffrence but it isnt much of a speedchange when there is only 200 users on. When its most slow its like waiting for the film to continue when there is some five minutes commercials on TV that feels like eternity..

Been running slow for me too lately and I'm on a 60 mb connection

It's so slow, I'd rather use another site. If this is the best Alex can do, it's not good enough.

I've got a 1.5 MBs connection. It still doesn't take things that long to load. Google only takes around 3 seconds.
But yeah, it's inconsitently slow.

I've noticed when the forum become slow for me, the font and text size change and are larger, actually the whole site looks different.

Wrong Planet is hosted on crappy servers that have frequent downtime.

I'm sure said servers are fine for small sites but for such a large forum you need some better ones! A very fast connection for them, too!
