It's not like we don't get mistreated. Here and there, there are even murders of autistic people who wouldn't have been killed if they weren't autistic. However, there's nothing systematic, other than the genetic testing/abortion project that Autism Speaks and the others of that sort are working on.

If there's a Holocaust in the future, I imagine it wouldn't just be autistic people, but people with all sorts of disabilities, including physically disabled neurotypicals. In that case, yes, we'd have to band together; but such things can be prevented by keeping people from thinking that disabled people are inferior, and integrating disabled people into society. Going off on your own, trying to form a community, does nothing to prevent such occurrences.

Honestly, though, I think we are much more likely to be targeted in more "civilized" ways than outright killing--that is, lack of access to jobs and education; institutionalization; not being allowed to keep our children; etc. That kind of thing can be stopped before it gets worse if the general public is informed about what autism actually is.
