Morgana---glad you could relate to my post. This autistic "look" is in the manner of moving, etc. For example, the way in which I move my head in relation to my body; the way I move my hands and have them placed; the expressions on my face; etc. are very much like the videos one sees of autistic people. This really comes as no big surprise to me since I am on the autistic spectrum---I just didn't realize I was so obvious in my movements, etc.
Again, thanks for responding---I find this fascinating.
Oh...glad you can dance well---all I could ever do was slow dance---awkwardly.
Hmmm, I´m going to have to find some videos of autistic people to watch...
The only one I have is the movie "Mozart and the Whale". Some of the movements and actions of the male actor reminded me slightly of myself, though I do those things on a MUCH smaller scale. But that´s only acting...I´ll have to watch the special features again, where they showed the real man whom the film was based on. I remember thinking he was way more subtle than the portrayals in the movie, more "normal" seeming...I´ll have to watch it again though.
Apropos dancing (ballet). That took years of dedicated practice, and was my biggest "special interest" in life.
