THANKS, at least this doesn't ask for a choice between two answers that are basically the same

I don't know if the answer is any better though. It says 6 with so/sp/sx

Type 6 Anxiety |||||||||||||||||||| 86%
Type 7 Adventurousness |||||| 30%
Type 8 Aggressiveness |||||| 22%

So 5 comes in a close third

The poll is a bit mucked up now. You shouldn't have given us two tests.

I know. Crap.

I guess you'll all just have to pick the one you think fits best. Sorry kids. :?

Type 1: The Reformer. The rational, idealistic type. (11 points)
Type 5: The Thinker. The perceptive, cerebral type. (7 points)
Type 8: The Leader. The powerful, aggressive type. (5 points)

The rest were negative scores.

1: -9
2: +3
3: -8
4: +7
5: +3
6: +1
7: -5
8: +1
9: +7

Equal parts 4 (artist) & 9 (peacemaker)--no real surprises there. For the poll I went with 9, I like the sound of that one better

I have the tests running in circles. One wants to make me a 2 - with the innate empathetic desire to help even though my sensors for identifying the need for such assistance are unreliable. The other one wants to say 5. Both are strongly flavoured by 4 and 9.

I'll vote #2, although after looking at the descriptions of the levels maybe 9 with a 2 wing or a 5 wing fits better.

The tests seem to be laughing at me about #3 and #8.

Type 5 by a wide margin. For once I'm in the majority.

I was a type 4(emo) on the first test and a type 6 on the second, with the variants social-compliant, but withdrawn, whatever that means. Seems like an oxymoron to me.

I can't help but wonder if our AS/Autism impacts the results of these test too much. I guess it depends if you view it more as a disorder or a personality trait...

At any rate, I'm a Type 2w1. :)

Type 3 score was 90
Type 2 score was 74

I am type 1, the rational, idealistic type (score of 12). Totally buy that. They said that my basic goal is "to be right," and that my biggest fear is "to be condemned." 100% true! :lol: They also said the 1s are perfectionists, and that is totally me. I'd say that, for mine, my AS AND my OCD both factor largely into what number I ended up being.

Type 2 - Helpfulness |||||||||||| 46%
Type 3 - Image Focus |||||||||| 38%
Type 4 - Hypersensitivity |||||||||||||||||||| 86%
>Type 5 - Detachment |||||||||||||||||||| 90%
Type 6 - Anxiety |||||||||||||||||||| 82%
Type 7 - Adventurousness |||||||||||| 42%

The first test says that I'm type 4, followed closely by type 5.
The second test says that I'm type 5, followed closely by type 4.

This is weird. Found this description of type 4. Can relate to that very much.

World View: Something's missing. Others have it. I'm different from them because I don't.
Basic Desire: to understand self
Basic Fear: of being defective
