Well, personally I cant even visualize something as simple like an apple. Although I havnt found much information about verbal thought, I know for sure I am not visual. What really sucks is the simple task of combing my hair... of all the stuff I can do, combing my hair is a major feat simply because I cant visualize how it is supposed to look like:(

My thoughts nearly always consist of "notes" and descriptions, sounds like verbal thought to me.

I think I have both verbal and visual thinking or an thinking on conceptual abstract pictures. I see both images and symbols of concepts. I store in my mind concepts, images and then I combine them like puzzle or lego pieces. For exemple, when someone explain to me about a location, I see in my mind the map of that location. Or when someone tell me about his problems, I see in my mind the concepts like shapes that looks like puzzle pieces, and I see the person in that setting which causes the problems. Or when someone teach me or I or read about psychological concepts, I see them in my mind like pieces that combine itself. Also, I like games like puzzle or arcade. As child, I loved lego, puzzles and maps. But, I have been have trouble with logical math thinking. At school, I had trouble with algebra and mathematical analysis. However, as child psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I don t need so much math. I also struggle with foreign languages and music play.
