That's exactly what I do. I have what I want to say in my mind but as soon as I hear the beep I end up stuttering, repeating myself & forgetting what I'm going to say. That's why if there's no answer I will just hang up & try calling again later. Still, I hate using the phone in general & will only call family members if I have to.
