I don't really knnnooooow... I think I always walked heel-toe, but one of the people I knew in middle school walked on his toes and I was impressed because it looked like how a dog walks, so I started imitating him. (Doing just toes.) I stopped after a while. Then later I gave up shoes altogether and now I walk toe-heel, because it comes natural when you have no shoes on, and that's how you're really s'posed to walk, you know. (Better for your knees and hips.) Everyone just walks heel-toe because the heels of shoes are all slightly thicker than the toe, so it hits the ground first even if you put your foot down flat or slightly forward.

I guess I'm kind of an expert or something. XD;

I started walking better when I got into running, but my feet still stick out like a duck when I walk (not when I run.) When I was a kid I used to be very flat footed, I remember realising that others didn't walk on the balls of their feet. When I'm bare foot I still walk ball heel. That's because it feels nicer... like walking on a sand beech.

But generally now it's heel to toe, at least when I'm in shoes, and my feet stick out like Charlie Chaplin.

Hum... again, I hadn't realised there was anything symptomatic about that.

Heel toe, mostly, I walk on my toes when I'm bare foot though.

I walk heel to toe, although every now and then i will stand on my toes for a few seconds (as a balarina would). My toes have this really weird sensation that gets worse over time, which goes away when pressure it applied. I'm never bare-footed (except for when bathing), i can't cope without wearing socks, my feet drive me crazy.

BAD MONKEY! :) ROFL! I guess it can be read that way, can't it?

Joke: Well, after the double-leg amputation I had to get around somehow. It took years of physical therapy, but I'm now quite speedy. I can even jump over low obstacles.

You do at least have a pogo stick to help you out if necessary.

I walk on my toes. But when I am just standing, I heel toe pattern. I like the feeling, so...

without shoes i walk on my tiptoes and also with shoes that have no heel i prefer to walk on my tiptoes

if wearing a shoe with a heel then i walk heel to toe.

I had heard that tiptoe walking was a sign of either cerebral palsy or short ligament in the legs as well as a sign of someone who has sensory issues

I walk heel to toe when I'm in shoes and on my toes when I'm not in shoes. It's something I've done since I was a kid. I had no idea it had anything to do with AS/ASD. Heh.

I walk the "normal" way, I suppose that's Heel-toe? Both of my sons seem to do toe walking. Do we have to correct them? Would they get toe damage or something?

I'll walk toe-heel if I'm barefoot but heel-toe if I've got shoes on.
