My first obsession was with dinosaurs, and I was quite young then. Since then I've had obsessions with snakes, turtles, deer, turkeys, and lots of freshwater fish. Whenever i would become interested in a new species, I would learn as much about it as I could, then move on to something else when my curiosity was fulfilled. Currently, I don't have any obsessions with wildlife, unless you include plants. :)

I like furry animals, insects, amphibians, and reptiles a lot, though I consider all animals nice.
When I was a kid I had an obsession with dogs, and my classmates would often ask me to draw dogs for them. I have always liked insects, especially lepidopterans (caterpillars, moths and butterflies), from childhood until now. I use the same audubon book that I have used since I was 8 years old to look up insects. Also, I have an extra number of books on lepidopterans.

When I was in elementary school, I was extremely obsessed with wolves. All thanks to the movie Balto.

My whole life I have been obsessed with cats. The first time I crawled it was to go and hug my Mum's cat ;)

This is one of my darling Moggies, Tiga

Some of them can be cool?
Like they have pretty colours and lights and stuff...

actually I think i just made that up.

Past obsessions of mine:

- Cats
meow. You know what one looks like.

- Ferrets (they'll wreck you're entire home if you accidentally leave the cage door open :D Just like a bunch of rowdy teens).
Image

- Most recent: Mukade ( Scolopendra subspinipes )

Basically the devil in centipede form.

- Panda's

- Obvious dinosaur phase every kid has

- Hamsters.

And that's all I can remember.

Dogs. I was interested/obsessed with them from a very young age and I guess the obsession is still lying dormant now, waiting until it can flourish again.

Dalmatian dogs (when I was little). I watched the movie "101 Dalmatians" over and over again, LOL.

Wolves (when I was about 10-11). I had an encyclopedic knowledge of all the different types of wolves, where they live, how endangered they are and why, etc. I was a total wolf-geek. :D

All arctic animals, especially arctic wolves (also when I was 10-11). I was always asking my mum if we could go to Siberia to see the Siberian tigers, but she always said no, LOL.

If I ever see that thing in person I would run, run like the wind, freaking tornado-caliber wind.

Creepy crawlies and I do not mix.

Felids, raptors, wolverines and other mustelids, wolves and wolf-like dogs.

Dinosaurs (especially Stegosaurus). Pretty much all amphibians and reptiles, but especially turtles. Donkeys. Dogs, especially collies. Dragonflies. Butterflies. Grasshoppers and mantises. Squids and octopi. Jellyfish. I also like rhinos but maybe not to the obsessive point.
Do mythological creatures count? Dragons.

Oh, I forgot red foxes, sea horses and snails.

I liked butterflies at one point, but mostly because a girl I liked was into them, but then the obsession never went away after.
