While these tests may be somewhat informative and give you an idea of some of the traits of AS and where you may loosely fall on the spectrum, whether or not they consider you to be "an Aspie" is total bullsh**. What makes an Aspie an Aspie? At what point does one stop becoming an NT and start becoming an Aspie? It's arbitrary and random, and only serves the purpose of assigning a label to yourself. There is another thread going about the dangers of labeling people, especially in an arbitrary manner like this.

Yes, it is arbitrary where to draw the line. Aspie-quiz uses data from the AQ test, and places the cutoff between "Aspie and NT" and "very likely Aspie" at the same point as the AQ test do based on optimal validity. The center of "Aspie and NT" is based on symetry (and other results from the AQ test).

AS diagnostic processes also use cutoffs, so this is not anything special for (online) tests. This is simply how the spectrum works. The difference between Aspie-quiz scores and results of AS diagnostic evaluation, is primarily that Aspie-quiz doesn't care about how much problems you have in relation to NTs, or how good your coping abilities are.

I've changed a decent bit since I was a kid, but overall have the same troubles. When I do tests like this I don't just think of the now, I also think of the then. How did I used to be? How am I now, why did I change, and are the affects of the change relevant? It helps me come up with what I hope is an accurate answer.

Edit - oops, accidentally entered this early. The test itself may or may not be accurate, but it at least offers direction and insight.

Took this quiz a few months ago and got a 142. Took it this time and got a 178. Wonder what changed?

Not that it's ever told me anything I didn't already know....

Your Aspie score: 54 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 141 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

I think I'm way more autistic than it gives me credit for. A year or two ago, I would've been mostly aspie. It's just the way I've learned to deal with things and act neurotypical when I have to.

LSAS-score: 2 of 144

You don't have social phobia(I used to)

You have severe social phobia

I've done this test for the second time. I done the LSAS test below it as well (for the first time) and unsurprisingly I have severe social phobia. My aspie score is higher this time than last time (I only got 70) but even my latest score is lower than I expected.
