Sonic the hedgehog, starting from september 25th 2009 this series has been all I've been able to think about, i currently have over 30 fan characters and drawn well over 1000 drawings (750 of which are on my deviantart) My favourite character is Mephiles The Dark.

i dont really care for the video games though, i have a few but id rather play left 4 dead.

My main obsessions are that I like to read, and that I like to read articles at my favorite websites online. I have tons of news and other sites bookmarked, but mainly visit my favorite sites, but that's still a lot of sites.

Cool! I was hyperlexic when I was little, and I refused to do anything except read, so I can relate :D .

My strongest and current obsession is realistic space warfare, ie speculating about the tactics of space warfare if only very well understood tech is used. Railguns for example are fine since we can very easily calculate how one would function given certain parameters, fusion power is going a bit out there since we don't know how large or heavy a reactor might be or how far it could be scaled down, warp drives and other forms of FTL travel are out because they're completely speculative.

Combat is performed mainly using missiles and drones, manned ships mutually using their own weapons on each other is avoided if at all possible but if one ship can fire at another far enough away that no retaliation is possible then that's fine. So far it's been really hard to find something that can beat lasers, but current possibilities are particle beams and using a capital ships laser to propel a missile via laser thermal propulsion, then having those missiles use their own onboard fuel for terminal guidance.
