I would vote for some widely known fictional character, who had its characteristical symptoms. Maybe Captain Nemo' Syndrome? He was a social outcast interested mainly in science, had strange eating habits, he sometimes got angry, etc (Verne probably used his own characteristical traits, I wouldn't be surprised if he had Asperger' Syndrome himself). Besides latin Nemo means "no one", the same as greek Outis, and the connection with autism is quite clear. And name Nemo can be connected with lack of perceived emotionality like in non emo ;)

And A$ would rename itself "Finding Nemo"...

Holmes? Spock? Drax? Calvin (of C. & Hobbes)? Gary Bell?

Or maybe sufficiently past examples Nathaniel (a man without guile), Cavendish (Wizard of Clapham Common), Millietich, or Gibson?

I coined neologisms like aucorigia, aucory, aukia (from "autocontrast" and "originality") to name Asperger's and similar disorders like nonverbal learning disability, social communication disorder and (especially) high-functioning classic autism. I think that in ICD and DSM classifications there should be one subcategory of developmental disorders which would contains all aukias.

Well, being too serious about oneself can be harmful :P

From these only Holmes and Spock are more widely known, and they are HFA's rather than Aspies. The name should give some general idea what's it all about. Maybe Mad Scientist Syndrome (for better acronym Merely Eccentric Scientist Syndrome)? ;)

I like aspergers, don't know why the name needs to be changed.
