But you can also apply that same logic to when you're alive. God has no reason to test our faith once we're dead because we don't need it then.

A little while back, my mom and I went to a lutheran church that was just starting out in a middle school cafeteria in my old town (it has its own building now). I definitely could not get into it. Besides all the constant standing up, sitting down, singing boring hymns, and not even being interested in religion or history anyway, the place was also extremely cliquey. And let's just say that the town itself was so bad, I do not ever, never want to step foot in it again. I know it's not that church's fault, but they all happened to live there. I've tried other churches, too, and it's basically the same story every time. And like I said, I can't get into the whole religion thing anyway.

Don't let nonchristians who think witnessing is "rude" stop you because so much is at stake! (They don't realize that , but we do!) But don't waste your time and get broken hearted over those who won't accept God. God is more broken hearted than you are because He knows many will reject Him. If you persist too hard with the wrong person you will just make their rejection worse. They will reject Jesus because they are rejecting your Asperger's syndrome lack of social skills not Jesus. A ePenpal of mine did that because I came on too strong. He quit writing to me. :(( And he wrote in one of his books about a Tourettes syndrome Bible distrubutor. God bless him. That man was trying! But at least in some cases he did more harm than good. :(( The fact my author friend used him as an example of a crazy Christian was proof of that. :(

Many times it is our job is to be prayer warriors for those with better social skills. The life of the party type of Christians bring many more to Christ but only if they are backed up with much prayer or the devil will find a way to use their gregariousness against them. Look at all the televangelists who have made terrible mistakes. They spent too much time reaching people and not enough time alone with God. We can help people like that by praying for their spiritual, economic and physical safety.

I find I do my best witnessing on the net. There are so many comment boxes out there at Youtube, yahoo answers (google it). Don't be discouraged by nonbelievers that reject Christ because there are millions out there that do. Just move on to the next. The net is your mission field. Our superior writing skills can be put to use there and no one can see us and reject the message because we aren't reading or responding to their facial movements or not making enough eye contact. Someone will listen. If they don't remember the advice of Jesus, "Don't cast pearls before swine" and "if they won't accept you, wipe the dust from your feet and go on to the next town, " etc. The Internet has plenty of "next towns." Don't get discouraged.

There was a shoe salemen who wanted to convert millions to Christ. He didn't do a very good job of it perhaps because people don't want to be preached at when they try on shoes. He also wasn't a very good shoe salesmen. In his entire lifetime of trying he only made one convert. But that person converted the person who led Billy Graham to the Lord!

I'm agnostic. I believe, that gods in other religions are way too pushy...
You can't drink, or be gay, or have sex, or curse so on and so on and so on...

With all of these everyone's going to hell!

People don't understand that to be a Christian means to share the Good News, aka. the Gospel. At least that's what I learned in church.
I never try to convert people or talk to non believers about God. I believe that God gives people a choice.
In church they would urge us all to spread the good news - I can't even speak about the weather to people without stuttering.

I always try so hard to leave my faith behind, but it always has a way of returning to me, especially when I feel that my life isn't working out for me.

I'm Catholic and loving it. It makes me sad that the world today is so liberal and condones such immoral behaviors.

*shakes head*

Good luck. Congratulations on your faith. I have my own - if you ever get the urge to proselytize in my direction, save your breath.

I'm an atheist but have religious friend/associates but only argee the evidence if they get too preachy!

force requires putting a gun to someones head. prostelyzing is not force. its a protected constitional right.

Free speech is a protected right; proselytizing is not. One can speak freely, but may not apply coercion or abuse. *shudder* Please don't consider your "duty" to be both god-given and state-supported.
