I agree with this as well. I would never ever ask for us to move but the noise would definately bother me, I'd just finish my meal and leave as soon as possible while attempting to still be polite to everyone.
I agree with this. Last time I went to a restaurant with my husband. It had an open kitchen, there were many people and all those noises from cutlery on plates, talking, people walking, the door open and closing and so on just got me completely stiff and I feel like everything "is falling into 1000000 pieces" in my head - I couldn't go and ask to get moved when I am in a shutdown like that, then I can't do anything anymore, barely talk. Luckily one brilliant mind turned on music, so it gave a "counter-sound-wall" to the not-controllable sounds, which helped me to get more relaxed.
