GA, THANKYOU! Music equalises us, music is a spirit, music is the force that binds us, music is our spirits calling out in so many ways, music is so beautiful.

Whoops, sorry, deep and meaniful waffle above.

True that, it's strange but it's like the only time I feel like I'm *truly* alive is when I'm listeing to some real good jungle (and once in a while the right hip-hop). Something about the emotions it triggers in me are at such a fundamental depth that's it like nothing else can really come close.

I'm primarily into alternative rock from the late 80s through the mid-90s.

Then there are some newer bands I like, such as:
Incubus
System of a Down
The White Stripes
Guster
Jimmy Eat World
Keane
Lostprophets
Brand New
Franz Ferdinand
The Killers
Queens of the Stone Age

Of course, I can appreciate a little of everything. I've recently gotten into this new "Jack-FM" radio station in my area that will play pretty much any song in any genre that was popular in the last 40 years or so. (Although, I feel for the listeners and airstaff of the oldies station that it replaced.)

Not listening to anything at the moment, just enjoying some quietness.

I mostly listen to swing jazz stuff like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, The Rat packers
(alone or together). Classical music, Franco Corelli.

My main man - who is very diff from the above - is Gary Numan, but I am not obsessed like lots of Numanoids. Looking forward to seeing him live again in March though.

Bearsac like him aswell and there is a photo of them together in his photo album on the website.
