Which,actually, to get in close enough range to a person to /stab/ them, you are more likely to hit a vital organ or slash a major vein.
Whereas with a gun, you could shoot a person in a foot or Leg to stop them,and they will most likely live.(assuming they are in general good health anyway)Though people /not/ involved have a possibility of getting shot instead.

Things I would ban:
Stealing of "group property" on the Internet Example:a picture you and your friends collaborated on and posted on a website(even anonymous) and then someone taking it and watermarking it(thereby claiming it as their own.) Or not even mentioning the site where it was originally posted.
Offenders: Icanhaschezburger, Ebaumsworld, Netrunner, Subeta, Gaia Online

Cybersquatting. while this is already illegal, it is barely enforced, and would cost money for them to be prosecuted anyway.

Misleading pop-ups(the ones that look like a system message but is really an ad for a anti-virus software that is usually BS anyway. something someone who doesn't use the internet enough would easily fall for.)

Rootkit-based Digital Rights Management Software(Example:SecuROM)
which basically,if you have something like Daemontools to run .isos of abandonware,(Or make your own .isos to keep your original CDs from being damaged because you have a bad habit of stacking/losing them) you can't use software you legally purchase that has SecuROM in it!

Is it possible to ban stupidity without commiting genocide?

ipods sending their users profoundly deaf.
People wearing farmers hats and crouch over the steering wheel while they drive
Bad taste tattoos
People who cannot count their grocery items when they push into the express chechout well over the limit.

People that step in dog doo and do not take off their shoes when the come inside.
People with bad toilet habits like missing the bowl or not brushing brown turd marks off it.

Yeah, see, some girls want to stop bothering with their hair. It's my hair and I'll do what I want with it--including getting rid of it altogether if I so desire. Women do not have a responsibility to look "sexy" or "feminine".

I'd ban people trying to dictate other peoples' clothing or hairstyles.

I got in a fight with my husband about that just last week! He didn't believe some states have this law. That's why people flash their lights when you're driving slow in the fast and middle lanes in NY and NJ. (Its a law in parts of the midwest, too - but they don't have quite the congestion.)

Men wearing tanktops anywhere but the gym, doing sports, or at the beach.

Smoking at the beach, river, or lake (unless you carry out your butts - just like dog crap).

Dog and cock flights. (There are still loopholes in Georgia!)

Unsustainable timber practices

Pop-up ads.

Cell phone plans longer than 6 months.
